Interpretive Center
The Interpretive Center is Alabama's most environmentally-friendly building, pursuing LEED Platinum and full Living Building Challenge certification (the world's most rigorous building standard – there are less than 30 in the world!). Come learn how the facility produces its own electricity and water and explore the park's nine ecosystems through a variety of family-friendly interactive exhibits before you hit the trails.
The Interpretive Center is located at the Beach Pavilion and is an open-air facility. Interpretive tours are offered at variable times.
