Campsite Decorating Contest
Dress up your campsite this Fourth of July weekend! Register at the Marina Store for a chance to win free camping at Wind Creek on a return visit. Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place, as well as Most Creative and Superintendent’s Choice. Winners will be announced Sunday night with postings on the Wind Creek State Park Facebook page, Clubhouse door, and Front Office.
Date: Friday, July 1st – Sunday, July 3rd
Time: Registration will be open at the Marina Store from Friday, July 1st at 8:00 AM to Sunday, July 3rd at 4:00 PM. Judging will immediately follow, and winners will be posted on Sunday evening.
SATURDAY, JULY 2nd
Wind Creek Patriotic Parade
Bring your stars, stripes, flags, and patriotic colors for a parade in the Wind Creek Campground! Decorate yourself, your bike, or your dog and get ready to ring in Independence Day!
Date: Saturday, July 2nd
Time: Parade Time – 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM; Participants gather by 9:45 AM
Location: Participants gather at the Wind Creek Clubhouse
Fantastic Flags Craft
Make your own flag using natural materials! Design your flag and collect fallen natural items to create a one-of-a-kind banner to take home! Let your imagination run wild!

Fourth of July Scavenger Hunt
Discover Wind Creek in a whole new way with a Fourth of July themed scavenger hunt! Play your way through the park as you hunt for American flags, hotdogs, red ribbons, and more on this fun, self-guided activity. Once you complete your hunt, bring your worksheet to the Wind Creek Clubhouse for a special treat!
Date: Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th
Time: Scavenger Hunt sheets will be available for pickup from the Wind Creek Clubhouse door beginning at 9:30 AM. Bring your completed sheet to the Wind Creek Front Office to receive a special treat.
