Lunker Lake Trail - Ribbon Cutting!

There's a new trail opening up at Oak Mountain State Park on April 21st!
2PM at the boat launch parking lot of Lunker Lake, there will be a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the new Lunker Lake Trail! This new hiking AND biking trail measures at about 2.8 miles, with sweeping and dramatic views of the lake, gorgeous stream crossings, a few rolling woodland sections, and more! In addition to this Grand Opening event, there will also be a GUIDED HIKE on Saturday, April 22nd at 10AM.
We would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Shelby County and the Shelby County Parks and Recreation Authority (SCPARA) for their hard work installing this trail!
