King's Chair Sunrise Hike

It's time for another Sunrise Hike! This summer’s sunrise hike is in partnership with Oak Mountain State Park and Girls Who Hike Alabama to encourage and celebrate women getting on the trail! OMSP Partner Zachary Andrews will be leading this hike with Oak Mtn Naturalists and Girls Who Hike Alabama ambassador Kat Bergeron assisting in leading the hike.
Oak Mountain State Park Front Gate will be open for early access starting at 5:00 A.M. Make sure to plan to enter early, the hike will start at 5:20 A.M. from the North Trailhead!
Don’t forget:
- $5 park entry fee
- Headlamp or flashlight
- Snacks/water
- BRING A FRIEND!
- Dog friendly but must obey proper leash laws!
