Join us for a night under the stars!
Learn how to save our dark skies, see what sneaks, calls, and crawls at night on the trails of Oak Mountain State Park, and look through high powered telescopes to experience our universe in a fun and family friendly setting.

7:00pm
Night Hike
Treetop Nature Trail, starting at the Beach Access Parking Lot
Led by OMSP Interpretive Team
6:00pm - 9:30pm
Star Gazing
Provided by the Birmingham Astronomical Society with high powered telescopes.
Located at The Terrace on Double Oak Lake (Behind Park Headquarters)
*FREE with paid entry into Oak Mountain State Park!*
