Take A Hike: McDill Point Wandering Walkabout
Cheaha Mountain is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, halfway between Birmingham and Atlanta. This sky island is surrounded by over 300,000 acres of pristine hardwood and pine in the Talladega National Forest. Join avid mountain hikers and trail experts Starr Weems de Graffenried and Ester Crawford for a guided hike across the Talladega Mountain Range to McDill Point and back (6 miles). Pack a lunch and join us for a wandering walkabout!

We are committed to providing programs that are educational, fun, and safe. Family units will be spaced out from other family units. We will provide hand sanitizer stations.
