CANCELED Arts in the Environment: Paint and Ponder with Brenda Gargus
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, officials from the Alabama State Parks division announced the cancellation of all public programs in state parks through April 6, 2020. As the coronavirus continues to spread, we want to assure our visitors that their health and safety is a primary concern. We are taking extra precaution by canceling group activities and encouraging social distancing in an effort to minimize the risk of exposure and spread of COVID-19, while still allowing visitors access to the recreation and beautiful outdoor places that can help their physical and mental health. During this time of social distancing, our goal at Alabama State Parks is to continue providing you and your families with fun, educational, and inspiring programs: online. We may not be able to gather together in groups, but we will be using technology to bring the fun to you and present creative things you can do outdoors! Please visit our Cheaha State Park-Alabama Facebook page for videos about the park, nature programs, and nature crafting. Please stay connected with Alabama State Parks through our social media pages and websites. Contact our Park Naturalist, Mandy Pearson (ADD EMAIL LINK) for more information.
