First Day Hike: Point Rock Overlook

Join park staff for a steady hike up to Point Rock Overlook for incredible views of the canyon. With views of Little Sauty Creek and passing along 200-million-year-old geologic formations, this is a hike you do not want to miss. This 2 mile out & back hike is considered moderate to hard due to elevation change, please dress weather appropriate and wear sturdy shoes!
Location: Meet at the Camp Store
Fee: Free to guests staying overnight at the park or day pass fee for guests not camping ($5 per car).
*All ages and leashed pets welcome
*This is not an ADA accessible hike
Each participant will receive an AL State Parks First Day Hike sticker at the end of the hike!
