First Day Hike - Indian House Trail

Go outdoors on the first day of the New Year! A guided hiking tour is the perfect way to experience the outdoors. You can just enjoy all the beauty that the hike has to offer. The Indian House Trail is a pleasant easy trail. Historically, the Cherokee Indians frequently occupied the rock overhangs at the trails end. Wildflowers and Rhododendrons are abundant along this trail and bloom in early spring. Park Naturalist, Tom Giordano, offers customized, private guided hiking tours and trips for small groups.
