Cabins
Monte Sano State Park features original Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) stone cabins. Built in the 1930s, these cabins are situated along a bluff, offering breathtaking views of the valleys surrounding Monte Sano Mountain. Cabins feature a 600 sq. ft. studio layout with one full-size bed and one twin-size bunked bed, a love seat, a dining table, a full bath, and central heating and air conditioning. Kitchens include a microwave, refrigerator, oven, toaster, coffee maker, assorted dinnerware, and cooking and eating utensils for four people. Bed linens and towels are provided in each cabin. Additional features: Cable TV, picnic table, and fire pit. Firewood is available year-round at the Camp Store for $8.00, including tax. CCC cabins feature a working fireplace.
Cabin Details and Information
- Rates vary by season, day of the week, and availability.
- Cabins 6-9 are our pet-friendly units. A $200 cleaning fee will be assessed if a pet is housed in a cabin that is not pet-friendly.
- Cabins 12, 13, & 14 are wood-frame cabins that do not include an indoor fireplace but do have a screened-in porch.
- Cabin 14 is ADA-compliant and features one queen-size bed and a handicap-accessible shower.
- There is an additional $200.00 cleaning fee for damages, excessive debris or uncleanliness.
- If you are hosting an event, you must rent an event facility. No events are allowed at the Cabins.
- Camping is only allowed at the Monte Sano State Park Campground. We do not allow any camping at the Cabins.
- All cabins are non-smoking. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected within the premises.
Reservation Details and Information

- Two-night minimum on weekends
- Three-night minimum on holidays
- Reservations require a deposit.
- Cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made at least 72 hours before your arrival date to be eligible for a refund of the deposit.
- The one-time reservation fee is non-refundable.
- All cabins sleep a maximum of 3 persons, but we allow up to 4 per fire code. Extra charges will apply for more than two adults.
Please be mindful that our cabins are rustic and are in remote wooded areas. We strive to maintain these older facilities and use routine pest control services to manage all pest types effectively.
