Tree-mendous Hike

Our park is home to many species of trees, and although our state tree the longleaf pine does not reside here, we have 3 beautiful species of pine that are kind of tricky to identify! Join the Park Naturalist along our Nature Trail to see these species along with several types of hardwoods and learn how to identify trees by their leaves, needles, and bark!
We will also discuss the types of ecological succession that has happened in this portion of our park while we walk along the trail!
