Kids to Parks Day 2023
Guided Paddle in the Delta: 8:30 am to 10:30 am

This event is first come first serve and capped at 12 participants.
Price is $15 per person. An additional $15 charge will be added if you need to rent a park kayak (13.5 ft tandem kayaks that can seat 1 or 2 paddlers. Life jacket and paddles included). At least a $5 deposit must be made to secure your spot. Payments can be made with cash or card. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the raft.

Please arrive at the park 30 minutes before the start time. Boats will be leaving at 8:30 am!
Catch up with Chloe the Naturalist in between programs! Ask questions about the local flora and fauna. And, explore the winding trails we have in the park! Explore and get excited about all things nature!
Kid's Fishing Tournament: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Bait will be provided and we will have a few extra fishing poles for folks to use. Please bring your personal poles if you have them, as we will not have enough extras for everyone.
Kids 15 and under do not need a fishing license, but anyone 16+ wishing to take part must have a freshwater fishing license. These can be purchased at www.outdooralabama.com

What to bring: water, sunglasses, snacks, sunscreen, weather appropriate clothing, and a fishing pole and tackle if you have them.
Free for children under 12 and overnight guests
$3 park entry fee for those over 12 (unless you have paid for the kayak tour)
