Please be advised that beginning in May 2024, the Eagle's Nest Golf Course will only have 9 holes open during our concrete cart path construction project. We plan to close the front nine first, then shift work to the back nine once the front nine is complete. Please contact the Pro Shop if you have any questions. The Eagle's Nest Golf Course at Lake Guntersville State Park is your premier golf destination! This 18-hole championship course is located on top of Taylor Mountain and provides golfers with a pure golf experience complete with magnificent lake views combined with occasional sightings of white-tailed deer and bald eagles. The golf course features rolling hills and elevation changes throughout, making each hole a unique challenge and a must-play on any golfer’s list. The course was renovated in 2009 by Jerry Pate and features TifDwarf Bermuda greens and full-service practice facilities. The Pro Shop offers rental clubs, golf accessories, apparel, and snacks.
