SAFARI IN THE PARK: Anniston Museum of Natural History’s Animal Encounter!

From slithering snakes to soaring raptors, Alabama is rich in animal diversity! Thanks to the Anniston Museum of Natural History’s partnership with Cheaha State Park, you can meet some of these amazing animals on the highest mountain in Alabama! Bring your camera and get ready for a WILD SAFARI with some truly spectacular animal ambassadors!

The Anniston Museum of Natural History, located just down the hill from Cheaha State Park in Anniston, Alabama, houses amazing exhibits from around the world! This Smithsonian Affiliate Museum provides an opportunity to stand face-to-face with prehistoric predators, to spelunk in an indoor cave, to stroll the African savanna, and to hear the whispers of Egyptians mummies! Be sure to visit the Anniston Museums and Gardens: Anniston Museum of Natural History, Berman Museum, and Longleaf Botanical Gardens.

Participants will receive a $1 off coupon for admission to the Anniston Museums and Gardens to all who attend the live animal program.
