Are you interested in starting your day in a positive way? Experience a nature hike while enjoying the beauty that is Joe Wheeler State Park! Join Park Naturalist Sam Woodroof and yoga instructor Allison Ruff for a morning hike through our Champion Trail, Wheeler River Trail, and Punisher Trail (2 miles) with a relaxing yoga cool down that follows at the Marina.

You get the light cardio and strength-building that hiking offers, the toning, flexibility, and relaxation that yoga offers, and the powerful connection to Mother Nature that being outdoors offers.

Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. And, if you’re going through an illness, recovering from surgery, or living with a chronic condition, yoga can become an integral part of your relief!
