Spann’s Landing on the Choctawhatchee River Closed for Renovations
October 03, 2011
The Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries recently closed Spann’s Landing public boat ramp in Geneva County for renovations. The existing launching slab will be replaced, a project that should be completed within four to six weeks.
During the ramp closure boats can not be launched at this public facility. Anglers should make arrangements to launch their boats at one of the other access areas located on the river. Anglers and boaters who would like to obtain information about the Spann’s Landing Boat Ramp closing should call the Fisheries Section at 334-242-3471 for updates during the project period.
