Fish River Boat Ramp to Temporarily Close

The Fish River public boat launch located at the intersection of Fish River and US Highway 98 bridge will be closed Tuesday, October 12, 2010 through Wednesday, December 15, 2010 while repairs are made to the boat basin infrastructure.

The closest alternate public ramps are View Point boat launch at the mouth of Weeks Bay at the south end of County Road 1 or Marlow Ferry East boat launch located on Honey Road off County Road 9.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama’s natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Parks, State Lands, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
