Five Shooting Clubs Offer Pre-Season Discounts to Dove Hunters
August 17, 2010
Dove season is just around the corner and hunters now have the opportunity to do some discounted pre-season practice shooting at five shooting ranges across the state. In partnership with the Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries (WFF), the ranges are offering member rates to non-members prior to the start of the North Zone Dove Season on September 4. The discounted rates will end on September 3 just prior to the start of the North Zone season.
“This is a great chance for Alabama dove hunters to sharpen their shooting skills before the opening of the season,” said Corky Pugh, WFF Division Director. “We are grateful to the participating shooting ranges for providing hunters with this opportunity.”
Interested hunters are encouraged to take advantage of the discounts and shoot at any of the participating ranges. Please contact the individual clubs listed below for shooting times and availability. For a list of shooting ranges in your area visit, www.outdooralabama.com/hunting/shooting-ranges.cfm.
