Press ReleaseStudent Artwork Featured in Coastal Resources CalendarFebruary 27, 2006 The Alabama Marine Resources Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources held an art contest for fourth and fifth grade students in The winning artwork will is on display at the University of South Alabama Library Gallery through February 28. In April it will be at the Mobile Arts Council on Dauphin Street in Mobile; May through June at the Mobile Museum of Art on Museum Drive; and during the month of July at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope. The Alabama-Mississippi Sea Grant Consortium generously donated the money to have all of the pictures framed and matted for these exhibits. The following students are the winners in this year’s contest: Bayside Academy: Maggie Rogers, Anabel Jones, Audrey Arnold, John Graham Parker, Mallory Davis, Haley Heebe, Dylan Kemper, Katherine Ham, Michael Daves, Ruana Tarabein, David DeNeefe Council Traditional School: Alyssa C. Acker-Moffett Fairhope Intermediate: Micah Browning, Breisten Bounds, Tyler Reed, Nichole Smith Foley Intermediate: Kimberly Martinez, Hollinger’s Hutchens Elementary: Geoffrey Young, J.E. Turner Elementary: Michaela O’Brien, Chandien Beech, Aaron Beach Knollwood Christian: Cory A. Dorsey, Melodie C. Byrd Loxley Elementary: Brandon Alan Torres. Mary B.
