Controlled Burn Planned at Gulf State Park

The Alabama State Parks Division, with the assistance of the Alabama Forestry Commission, plans to burn 84 acres of longleaf pine/pitcher plant bog on February 8-9, 2006, weather permitting.

Every effort is being made to ensure safety and proper smoke management during this burn period.
