Dallas County Lake to Reopen April 18

Dallas County Public Fishing Lake will reopen on April 18, 2014, under the operation of new lake manager Anthony Fail. The lake had been temporarily closed pending the hiring of a new lake manager. The 100-acre lake is located 11 miles south of Selma, Ala., off Alabama Highway 41.
The lake offers public restrooms, a covered fishing pier, and a boat ramp. Bait, fishing tackle and snacks may be purchased at the lake. In addition to a valid fishing license, a daily $3 fishing permit is required.
