Campfire Talk: Hiss and Slither!

At first glance, animals that hiss and slither can seem a bit frightening. However, once you take a closer look, they are truly fascinating. From heat-seeking vision, to running across water, to regenerating lost limbs, these scaly and slimy critters are nothing short of extraordinary! Join Park Naturalist Mandy Pearson as she introduces you to live reptile and amphibian creature teachers and dispels some of the fears surrounding them!

For more information email Mandy.Pearson@dcnr.alabama.gov or call (256) 412-9938. We are committed to providing programs that are educational, fun and safe. Family units will be spaced out from other family units. Hand sanitizer stations will be provided.
