Joe Wheeler State Park's 37th Annual Parade of Lights

Joe Wheeler's 37th Annual Parade of Lights will have boats of all sizes decorated with beautiful lights reflecting off the waters of First Creek!  The public is invited to come and view this beautiful, holiday annual event with us at Joe Wheeler State Park on December 8, 2012.  If you would like to enter your boat in the parade please contact Joe Wheeler State Park Marina (256-247-6971) or email the marina at JoeWheeler.Marina@dcnr.alabama.gov .  The Parade of Lights judging will begin at 4:30, line-up at 5:30 and the parade will start at 6:00 p.m.

Daniella's in the Park restaurant will be serving a traditional holiday buffet.  Dine with us while you watch the parade, or stay in one of our newly renovated guest rooms and watch from your own private balcony! 

Also, Santa will be in the lodge lobby for wishes and pictures immediately following the parade!  We hope you will bring your family and join us for this annual holiday Christmas event!
