About the Museum

The Walter Farr Indian Relic Museum is open for tours for park guests, home school groups, school field trip groups, and others. The museum contains a collection of hundreds of pieces including arrowheads, stone tools and musical instruments. The entrance fee to the park covers your visit to this museum. 

Plan Your Visit

The Indian Relic Museum Hours are from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  

March - November Closed on Wednesday & Thursday 

December - February  Closed on weekdays  and Open - Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Volunteer

Cheaha State Park is looking for volunteers to help staff the museum. Contact us for more information about opportunities to volunteer. We also welcome donations and loans for display at the museum.

Special Hours and Notices

The museum will be unavailable for tours December 22-25 for the holidays. The Indian Relic Mueum is closed during severe winter weather.
