• Passport To Fitness (ongoing)
  The State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is an eager participant in the Passport to Fitness program. This project was developed by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), and its purpose is to promote Alabama's many fitness opportunities. With the multitude of trails within them, we are excited to announce that several Alabama State Parks are participating in this program. 

• Camping double discount days (August 2 through September 30, 2010 - Not valid on September 5, 2010)
  Seniors (age 62+) and disabled persons can enjoy a Sunday through Thursday night camping experience at any state park for a 30% discount from base camping rates.
