Cheaha State Park offers many choices for conferences, weddings, family reunions and other group meetings
and gatherings. From the Cleburne Room, Al Alexander Activities Building and four Picnic Pavilions to the
Bald Rock Group Lodge; all are perfect for your group, family or business “get together.”
Cheaha’s Bald Rock Lodge offers the perfect getaway for any group. When renting the Lodge, everything your group needs is in one place.
Full-service catering is available, with the Lodge Manager assisting in coordinating the on-site catering of refreshment breaks, breakfast,

DeSoto Resort State Park Lodge has three meeting rooms available. The DeSoto Room, with its stone fireplace, will accommodate up to 25 guests. The Canyon Room will seat
up to 40 guests, while the main dining room will seat up to 60. The Meeting rooms are great places for birthday parties, family reunions, and wedding receptions.
There is also an outdoor deck available for meetings & events located just outside the Main Dining Room.

variety of accommodations to meet your needs, from small intimate meetings to large conventions, meeting space for 15 to 500. Let our staff make your next

The Cedar Room: Seats up to 30 for a banquet and 35-40 with chairs only.
The Willow Room: Seats 50-60 people for a banquet and up to 100 with chairs only.
The Cypress Room: Seats up to 150 for a banquet and 200 with chairs only.
The River Room: Offers a view of the lake along with a huge stone fireplace. Capacity is 150 for a reception, 100 for classroom style and
100-125 for a wedding. Can also be used in conjunction with the patio.
The Convention Center: The combination of the Willow Room and the Cedar Room combined with the Cypress Room creates the Convention Center. The
Convention Center seats up to 300 people for a reception or banquet setting, 200 for a classroom setting, and 500 for theater seating.
Joe Wheeler’s Elk River Group Lodge is a unique facility, which enables several members of a group to stay in the same dwelling. It is
especially attractive to family reunions, church retreats and fishing clubs. The setting for the lodge is within a cove off of Elk River. It
is a facility of Joe Wheeler Resort State Park but is located approximately 10 miles from the main park area. A boat ramp is

Lakepoint Lodge has nine separate areas for meetings, banquets, weddings, receptions and reunions. Several of them overlook the water.
Our facilities can accommodate from 10 – 500 people in total comfort. One addition is the beautiful Lakeside Terrace that overlooks the water

Lake Lurleen's activity room is available daily from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Pavilions are also available for rental.

Gulf State Park has a beautiful new beach pavilion that has a large concession stand open on a seasonal basis. Air conditioned bathrooms with
showers are open throughout the year for beachgoers and picnic tables are also available for use under the pavilion.
The beach pavilion is perfect for family and group outings, reunions, beach parties and sunset weddings. Rental is available 7 days a week, except major holiday
weekends during the summer. Rates are: $400 for 100 persons, $500 for 100-200 people, and $600 for 200 or more. For more information on

Gulf Park also has pavilions available for rental on Lake Shelby.
Picnic Pavilions are available for rent at all of our parks. These pavilions may be reserved for your group by calling the park offices.
