Surface Temp 80-86°

 

Water Clarity is Stained to Clear

 

 

 

Bass – Fair to God

Bass are in grassy beds and ledges in creeks and on the river channels. Bass in the grassy areas are being caught early and late on frogs, buzzbaits, swim baits, jigs and plastic worms rigged Texas Style.
Fish on the ledges are being caught on crankbaits in shad colors, Carolina rigged worms like black with red flake, green pumpkinseed and grape.

 

Crappie – Fair 

 

Fish are in 8-12 ft deep, look for them in creek channels, using jigs and minnows and small spinners such as beetle spins and fish them in various colors. Fish around wood structure.

 

 

Hybrids – Good
Fish in the afternoon late. Watch for diving birds and use spinners, lipless crankbaits & jigging spoons

 

Bream – Very good on or near grassy beds 2-6 feet deep. Use crickets, worms around full moon. 

 

Catfish – are very good right now using cut baits, live worms and minnows in creeks and river flats. Use worms cut bait and commercial bait under floats.
