Situated along the shoreline of the 69,000 acre Lake Guntersville is Lake Guntersville State Park’s Main Campground. The Main Campground includes 321 improved campsites, a primitive camping area, bathhouses, playground and recreation area, and country store. All improved campsites have water and electrical hookups, picnic table, grill, and fire ring; some sections also have sewer hookups.

Town Creek Campground is located on the bank of Lake Guntersville near the mouth of Town Creek on Alabama Highway 227. Primitive sites are available with bathrooms and hot showers in the vicinity.
