Chewala State Park has a great partnership with Central Alabama Mountain Peddlers(CAMP) that offers a great trail system to the public. Thanks to the hard work and resources that CAMP dedicates to the Park we can provide first class mountain biking.

CAMP is an official IMBA (International Mountain Bicycling Association) Chapter located in Central Alabama, headquartered in the Auburn/Opelika area. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the people living and visiting East Alabama.

CAMP Mission:

To promote trail advocacy, health, wellness, and education by developing, maintaining, and riding sustainable multi-use trails.

Our Vision:

To improve the quality of life for the people in the communities we serve by developing mutually beneficial relationships that support the growth of multi-use trail systems and the promotion of outdoor activities.
