Bald Rock Lodge offers the perfect getaway for any group. 
When renting the Lodge, everything your group needs is in one place.

Full-service catering is available, with the Lodge Manager assisting in coordinating the on-site catering of refreshment breaks, breakfast, lunch, dinner or our specialty themed banquets.

  • Private Parking:  The Bald Rock Lodge parking area has handicap parking and is available for all Bald Rock Lodge Guests.  Extra parking is available at the Bald Rock Trail. Guest will also have access to the boardwalk (Doug Ghee Accessible Trail). Bring your mountain bikes and use the Mountain Bike trail or take a leisurely ride around the park. 
     
  • Meeting or Dining Facilities:  Tables and chairs for up to 130 people are part of the facility and can be set up for any style function.  For wedding receptions of 130 - 200 we recommend setting up only food tables. You may cater or the Park can cater. Menus are available upon request. (Professional caterers must pay a 10% commission and acquire a permit from the park). Additional tables and chairs may be rented from the Park. The fireplace in this room is breathtaking and has been the background for many weddings and receptions.  A/V equipment is available upon request.  Movement of any furniture (by Park staff or guests) is subject to a set-up fee. Please see management for more information.

  • Small Conference Room and Lobby:  An area for small meetings for 10 - 12 people.  Many family reunions use it as a game room. Brides use it as a dressing and layout area for the bridal party. The long conference table has many uses (meetings, poker or bingo games).  An additional, attached room makes a wonderful break out area. There are two easily accessible full bathrooms. This top part of the lodge is furnished with a large table, couch, two daybeds, TV, DVD and VHS players and satellite. 

  • Bathrooms:  The bedrooms each have a private bathroom.  Each floor has half bathrooms to accommodate guests attending the function but not staying at the Lodge. There are 2 handicap accessable half bathrooms on the main floor. There are total of 20 bathrooms in Bald Rock Lodge.
     
  • Bedrooms: There are 12 bedrooms.
    The following items are furnished for all rooms/bathrooms. Each bedroom has a key.
    • Hair dryer 
    • Clock radio (no TVs)
    • Individual remote controlled heating and air-conditioning
    • Linens
       
  • Linens are not furnished for extra guests. Guests using sleeping bags or air mattresses need to bring pillows, blankets, towels or any items needed to accommodate them.
     
  • The main floor has 6 bedrooms with private bathrooms for each room.

This floor sleeps 16 as follows:

  • Sleeps 2 guests:
    Room 201 - Double Bed (this is the wheelchair accessible room & bathroom).
    Room 202 - Queen Bed
    Room 203 - One set of stacked Bunk Beds (this bathroom has a shower only, no bathtub)
    Room 204 - One Queen Bed

  • Sleeps 4 people:
    Room 205 - Two sets of stacked bunk beds
    Room 206 - One set of stacked bunk beds and one Queen bed. 

  • The Bottom Floor has 6 bedrooms with private bathrooms. 
    This floor sleeps 14 as follows:
    Room 301 - One Queen bed (Sleeps 2 guests)
    Room 302 - One Queen bed (Sleeps 2 guests)
    Room 303 - One Queen bed (Sleeps 2 guests)
    Room 304 - One Queen bed (Sleeps 2 guests)
    Room 305 - One Queen bed (this room has room for a playpen if you wish to bring one). This is the largest room. (Sleeps 2 guests)
    Room 306 - One Queen bed and one set of stacked bunk beds  (Sleeps 4 guests)



 

  • Terrace - View Bald Rock Lodge Terrace Layout
    The French doors open from the Dining room onto the terrace. This area offers many groups an area for outdoor meals and parties. The terrace is furnished with teak tables and chairs. (Movement of furniture is subject to a set up fee. Please see management for more information).

  • Private BBQ Pits & Outdoor Fire Pit - This area is the center of the party for many groups. You can grill out on the fire pit and the two grills or use the fire pit as an outside fire. (Cheaha’s staff will be happy to grill for you if prearranged). Firewood for this area is available at the Park's Country Store or you may bring your own. All grills and the fire pit use charcoal. Bring your own grilling utensils unless the Park is catering.
     
  • Kitchen - Furnished as follows:
    • Ice machine
    • One commercial freezer and one commercial refrigerator
    • Two commercial ovens and exhaust
    • One commercial flat top grill with cleaning items
    • One commercial top range for boiling items or cooking with a skillet
    • Two under-the-counter dishwashers
    • Service for 30 guests. If you wish to serve more you will need to provide additional dishes unless the Park is catering.
    • Basic pots and pan. (If cooking casseroles, turkeys or large items, guests must furnish appropriate cookware)
    • Coffee pots 2 large
    • Two microwave ovens
    • Two toasters
    • Two blenders
    • Two mixers
    • Limited serving dishes/trays
    • Spacious prep and counter areas
    • Two sinks and dish drainers with dish detergent
    • Pot holders and dishcloths
    • Mops and brooms 
    • Trash cans and trash bags
    • Catering entrance - No catering items are supplied unless we cater your event
    • Note: We supply basic cooking items. Items may vary if items are stolen and we cannot restock before next guest checks in. We will be happy to supply other items if we are catering your meal. 


 

  • Telephone - The Lodge has a telephone in the kitchen. You may receive phone calls at any time. You may make calling card or collect calls only (no long distance calls). Please feel free to bring your fax. The phone number to use during your stay is 1-256-488-5114.
  • TV- There are two TVs. One in the front lobby and one upstairs. Both have basic satellite channels. There a VCR & DVD player upstairs.
  • Fireplaces - There are two fireplaces. You may bring your own firewood or buy it by the bundle at the Park Country store.
  • Horseshoes - are available upon request.
  • Basketball  - for the goal is available upon request.
  • Arbor for Weddings - A special area can be prepared for you to use for your wedding ceremony. Use of this area for the ceremony will be mean parking will beside the basketball goal. This area is a perfect area for a group photo.

  • Rules and Regulation Information will be supplied with contract.  Full payment will be received before arrival. Any other information will be supplied upon booking.
  • Two (2) night minimum on weekends all year

Deposit of first night must be received with in 90 days. Full amount of stay must be paid no later than 90 days before arrival.
